The Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) of Singapore is an independent investigation authority, responsible for the investigation of air accidents and serious incidents in Singapore involving both local and foreign civilian aircraft. The AAIB also participates in overseas investigations of accidents and serious incidents involving Singapore aircraft or aircraft operated by a Singapore air operator. The investigative process involves the gathering, recording and analysis of all available information of these incidents.
